The Thialf and the Balder are two of the world’s largest crane vessels, operated by Heerema Marine Contractors. These impressive Deepwater Construction Vessels (DCVs) have an overall length of 201 and 154 meter, respectively.
Our AqualLine Anchor Pendant Socket No. 526 and AqualLine Anchor Pendant Socket No. 528 for 2” and 3” (61 and 76 mm) wire rope are used for the mooring lines of the Thialf and Balder. All sockets were certified by Lloyd’s Register Marine and Shipping.
