The ‘Laschenseilbirne’ is a special kind of rope pear socket. Nowadays, mainly used in older cranes and port installations. In the past, before the introduction of high-performance ropes, these wire rope fittings were able to withstand a breaking force of, for example, at least 90 Mtons (LSB No. 13). However, with the development and broad application of high-performance ropes, the LSB socket became the weakest link in the assembly.

In the spirit of our AqualLine philosophy, we have reshaped the existing Laschenseilbirne: a cylindrical base design, a wider wire outlet, almost 10% weight decrease  and a higher MBL of up to 160 Mtons (for the LSB No. 13). An old favourite in a new jacket: suitable for the current market.
