The Angus L. Macdonald Bridge in Nova Scotia, Canada, was constructed from 1952 to 1955. Since its opening in 1955, the suspension bridge has undergone several renovations. The latest one in 2015, when all the suspender ropes on the suspended spansĀ of the bridge were replaced.

428 pieces of our AqualLine Open Spelter Socket No. 125 were used on the new suspension ropes. These sockets were casted from special ASTM A148 Grade 90-60 [620-415] material.
