Military vehicle recovery

Projects in this sector often involve field operations such as towing, lifting and vehicle recovery. These activities take place across different locations and terrain, often outdoors and away from fixed infrastructure, where equipment needs to handle heavy loads, changing conditions and repeated use.

One of these projects involved our AqualLine Closed Spelter Socket No. 215, supplied for use in towing cable assemblies for military vehicles. The socket forms the connection between the wire rope and the towing system, providing a secure and durable wire rope termination. In towing and recovery operations, these assemblies may be exposed to sudden loads, wear and repeated use in the field. The Closed Spelter Socket No. 215 is designed to provide a reliable connection throughout these operations.
