The Gorgon development, located on Barrow Island off the northwest coast of Australia, is one of the world’s largest LNG projects, involving the construction of multiple LNG processing trains and associated offshore and onshore infrastructure.

Within this project, spreader bars were applied in lifting operations as part of the installation and handling scope. The sockets function as fixed terminations on wire rope slings, forming the interface between the lifting set and the spreader bar connection points in multi-point lifting configurations.
