The national stadium of Singapore, which opened in 2014, has a capacity of 55,000 seats. Its iconic roof measures 312-meters across and claims to be the largest free-spanning dome in the world.
Our AqualLine Open Spelter Sockets No. 128 for 2” (29 mm) wire rope are incorporated into the moving mechanism of the retractable roof system. The roof can be opened or closed, depending on the weather conditions, and was designed to suit the tropical climate of Singapore.
