World’s longest pedestrian suspension bridge opened on May 13, 2022 in the ski-resort of Dolni Morava in the Czech Republic. The footbridge spans a distance of 721 metres and took around 2 years to construct. Due to its length, this narrow suspension bridge is equipped with special wind cables and a wind-resistant stability system.

The wind-resistant stability system minimises any vertical and lateral movements and is equipped with pulleys, wire ropes, floating dead weights and our AQUALLINE Open Spelter Sockets No. 138. The AQUALLINE Open Spelter Sockets No. 138 have a wire inlet for 76-80 mm cables and reach an MBL of 600 Mtons (click here for our datasheet).
