280-tonne lifting operation at the Spirit of Tasmania passenger terminal
The Spirit of Tasmania passenger terminal in Devonport, Australia, forms part of a wider upgrade of the Spirit of Tasmania service between Tasmania and mainland Australia. The programme includes the introduction of the new Spirit of Tasmania IV and V vessels, together with a new passenger terminal and port infrastructure.

For the construction of the new passenger terminal, Heavy Duty Triangle Plates No. 120 (HDTP) were used in a 280-tonne lifting operation. The HDTP provided the central connection point within the lifting system, distributing the lifting forces across multiple sling assemblies.
