Open Strand Spelter Sockets for open pit mining shovels

Open pit mining shovels are used in surface mining operations to excavate and load large volumes of material. As part of this process, they are subjected to high dynamic loads and continuous operating cycles, placing significant demands on the wire rope assemblies used in the hoist and crowd systems. These systems control the lifting, lowering, and digging movements of the shovel and play a key role in the excavation process.
